On a planet of baldness, love exists in a surreal form: humanity’s soulmates are wigs. Li Pu, a man masking his insecurity under a hat, falls for 'Monica,' a wig worn by a gala host. He steals Monica, embarking on a life together that is as tender as it is absurd. Just as Li Pu prepares to 'propose,' he is chased by the authorities. In the chaos, Monica is swept into the street and crushed by traffic. As he cradles the remains, a billboard above flashes: "Monica-001: The World’s First AI Wig Companion." He realizes his 'soulmate' was merely a mass-produced prototype.

Set in an unspecified Third World country, this animated film, based on a short story by Enver Carim, suggests that "top priority" means different things to governments and to the governed.
